Centre Closures and Playcentre Facilities

The centre is open for 50 weeks of the year, closing for 1 week at the end of August and 1 week over the Christmas period.

Play centre is offered to the children who attend the centre on a first come first served basis, this available between the hours of 8.30 am and 5.30 pm. There is a daily charge for Playcentre - please ask for current price.

Adult to Child Ratios

Indoors 1 adult - 5 children
Outings 1 adult - 3 children (3 & 4 year olds)
Outings 1 adult - 4 children (5 & 6 year olds)

The play centre staff organise a number of outings each week, however these are dependent on having the correct adult to child ratio. There will be a minimum of one outing per week.

This service is open to children between the ages of 3 years 3 months and 6 years. Children who live within our catchment area are able to apply for a place whether they attend the Centre or not (these places are limited and priority goes to children who attend the centre, therefore we advise parent / carers to book places early).

We have two regular play centre staff and then
employ additional staff depending on the
number of children booked in.

If you book your child in and do not attend
you will still need to pay.
