Expectations Of Parents Using The Centre

Parents are expected to work in partnership with staff to ensure that they and their child gain the maximum benefit from the service provided.

Parents should attend at least four Parent / Staff meetings per year.

Parents will be encouraged to work with staff in setting realistic targets for their child's developmental progress.

Parents are expected to attend consultation meetings to review their child's progress.

Parents are expected to support the staff in their work providing a safe, clean, healthy environment for children.

Fees must be paid on Monday or Tuesday each week.

Parents are expected to ensure that their child attends on the days and times agreed and should inform the Centre if the child is absent for any reason. Failure to do so may result in the place being withdrawn.

Parents must keep the Centre informed of any change in circumstances, eg change of address. Also to pass on relevant information which may affect the child's well-being.

Parents will be expected to act responsibly if their child is
unwell or has an infectious disease and keep them at
home until they are well enough to cope with the
nursery day.

Parents are expected to be polite and
courteous to all children, parents and
staff at the nursery.
